FREQUENTLY ASKED questions

You've got questions? We've got answers. Our business model is a little different, and we love it that way. Let us explain how we roll.

How do I book white space?

You can access our booking page to book and pay for your spot online. Check out this blog post for a tutorial of how to book.

How do I get into the space?

Once you book White Space, you'll receive an email with all the instructions to access the space. Be sure to read this, as the email changes as our policies change.

Can I see White Space in person before I book?

Sure! White Space is by appointment only, so be sure to make an appointment with Jeff or Maddie to see the space so you don't interrupt another renter. You can contact us here.

What happens if I go over my booked time?

The time you rent the space is the time you are allowed in the space. If you need additional time, be sure to pay for that time. That said, we understand that things happen. If you go over your allotted time, be sure to contact Maddie or Jeff right away (contact information will be in the email you receive when you book) about extending your time. If the studio is available, we will charge the card on file for additional time.

If you go over your booked time and do not let us know, you will be charged $50 for every 15 minutes you go over your time.

What is the best time to rent the space?

Our windows face west so the studio acts like a softbox of light all day. Light in the morning tends to be a bit more blue with slightly more contrast. Light in the afternoon tends to be softer with more warmth. Early morning and late afternoon/early evening will sometimes create fun shadows on the floor as well (you can easily block these with our shades and curtains, if you'd like).

What's included in my rental?

White Space is full of props and furniture that are periodically switched out for the seasons. You have access to all of it when you rent. If anything is private or not included in your rental, it will be marked PRIVATE.
